A company of engineering selected A.I for two projects concerning special machines: - The first project entailed programming a pin-sorting machine designed to accept or reject pins based on size and diameter. After sorting, 'good' pins are unloaded into boxes and carried away on a conveyor belt. Defective pins are unloaded into a discard bin. - The purpose of the second project was to integrate a machine to add a safety film to parts destined for the automobile industry. The machine was installed between an existing welding station and an existing unloading station. A.I developed an additional program to ensure the proper functioning of the entire installation and to add the new functions to the manual system control/command touch screen. |
