Baku military air base

Baku military air base

AI developed the AGL automation program and supervision system for Baku’s military air base in Azerbaijan in 2008.

This fully-secured installation offers runway lighting control via two PCs. One, with touch screen, is located in the tower and the other is located in the maintenance substation. Operating and fault information is displayed on supervision interface. Redundant PCs and power supplies and reliable PLC equipment ensure uninterrupted service.

Control/command ground lighting & baggage handling system - Bamako airport

Control/command ground lighting & baggage handling system - Bamako airport

Within the context of the new passenger terminal, AI implemented a new and secured Remote control Solution for the airfield lighting system and the Electrical Supervision (Vaults, Technical rooms, NAVAIDS, Electrical power station,…).

Our long skilled experience in the airport sector allows us to implement a system following the common architecture rules on the ASECNA airports in Africa.

Next, AI, already widely present in Mali, won a contract to integrate automation and supervision of the baggage handling system of the new terminal of Bamako, and for the achievement of cabinets and installation on site.

Control and command of Biarritz airport ground lighting

Control and command of Biarritz airport ground lighting

To continue with the renovation of six airports in the southwest of France, AI has made on behalf of the civil aviation (SNA / SO), the control and monitoring system of the airport of Biarritz.
The control and monitoring system put in place follows the guideline which is to standardize the systems on the six airports to allow easy and simple use by air traffic controllers.
Many discussions and the great flexibility of AI permitted to provide customized technical and ergonomic solutions.
The civil aviation has relied on AI because of its extensive experience in the airport field.

Bobocu airport ground lighting

Bobocu airport ground lighting

AI developed the airfield lighting control & monitoring system and supervision system for Bobocu airport in Romania in 2006.

This fully-secured installation controls and monitors both airport and heliport ground lighting systems.

Redundant PCs and power supplies and reliable PLC equipment ensure uninterrupted service.

Bordeaux international airport

Bordeaux international airport

AI was commissioned to renovate the remote  control system of airfield lighting implemented in  the International Airport of Bordeaux CAT III.

In this project, AI has set up a redundant controller architecture connected to three touch screens located in the control tower.

The Civil Aviation PLCs interact with the Airport Operator PLC via two redundant networks (fiber optic network and JBUS 485) in order to prevent the maximum system failure.

The system design meets the requirement EUROCONTROL Safety Regulatory (ESARR6).
