This installation is organized with a Premium PLC communicating truth Ethernet with all workstations. He managed communicating and wires to wires CCR type.
The redundancy of the workstation and the secure power supplies of the system ensure uninterrupted service.

The fully-secured system uses an Ethernet and fiber optic network and redundancies at the PLC (TSX Premium), PC, and power-supply levels to ensure uninterrupted service.

AI designed the airfield lighting control and monitoring system for the Montevideo Airport, in Uruguay. The project was completed in two phases. The system and first runway were overhauled in 2003. The second runway was then overhauled in 2005.

Facility safety

In order to ensure non-stop service, the system had to be completely secure. AI fulfilled this need by installing a fiber-optic ring and redundancies at all levels of the system (PLCs, PCs, servers, and regulators on sensitive functionalities and power supply). Intravue monitors the entire Ethernet and optical network.

In this project, AI was commissioned to design and implement the remote control system of the airfield lighting and Electric management.
An optical loop transmits information from the control tower to the equipment dispatched in 2 electrical substations.
