Automation of the EDF of Pont de Claix plant replacement project was to replace cabinets of automatism of groups and General Services dating back to 1956 (date of commissioning of the plant), by a set of cabinets incorporating PLCs and instrumentation. These cabinets are connected to a supervisor (graphic control Interface) Windows. The AI engineer worked in support of one EDF agent (CHO agent EDF) on the control of supplies of incumbents, the organization and execution of testing platform, as well as tests on site coordination between the various actors: EDF services expertise of placing in service and operation, and companies which have the market licensees. Concurrently with these works, the turbine (type KPLAN) has been fully dismantled and revised by the EDF mechanical maintenance service.

Renouv’eau project goals are to modernize and massively deploy, in an industrial way, the global infrastructure concerning 80 factories. This project has to end for 2016.

Thanks to this project, production tool will be upgraded in its globality, improving by this upgrade the performances.

The upgrade, respecting the infrastructure standards, is a key point in hydraulic central renovation.

In this context, A.I. takes in charge the conception, the realization and even the material deployment in factories.

In the framework of a tender manufacturer on automation part, EDF has chosen the SIEMENS S7-1500 for all of its Renouv'Eau hydraulic site projects. Initially based on a SCHNEIDER TSX57, SIEMENS had to find a solution to his new client to convert standard modules initially developed on SCHNEIDER platform.

Considering its experience and its relationship with EDF, SIEMENS entrusted this critical mission (by result and deadlines) to AI. In two months a team ensured the study, converted and tested of all the modules on the new platform TIA PORTAL SIEMENS.

The S7-1500 being in the beginning of its commercialization phase, AI is one of the first French integrators working on this controller base. This project helped to capitalize a knowledge, which is today, one of the largest nationwide.

AI was given by EDF the mission of changing the automationl of water taken from the hydroelectric plant of La Coche Savoie.

The entire PLC programming, communication devices and land monitoring system has been made on this project.

The facility, with a PC IGC-OMA native EDF, 4 premium Schneider PLCs, PLC Télémécanique TSX 64725, is controlled by a Schneider PLC P573634 feature in Unity.

Communication is carried out under a Fieldbus protocol Unitelway
